The Gawler Foundation Hawthorn Centre is a welcoming space for all those seeking information about lifestyle illnesses, profound healing and sustainable wellbeing. The Information Kiosk, located on the ground floor, is an interactive display booth loaded with information about our programs and other important health related topics. Everyone is welcome to pop in and access these services and enjoy a cup of herbal tea.

The Terace Tearooms


The Terrace in the heart of Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens has has become a major Melbourne landmark and tourist spot.
The Twilight Concert series is held here on selected days throughout the year.

The tearooms, located by the Ornamental Lake, have been rejuvenated inside and
out, reflecting a classic yet contemporary style.
The Terrace also boasts a new chef, David Thompson and a brand new menu.
David Thompson joins The Terrace from Leonda by the Yarra.
Before this position he was Sous Chef at Belgrave Manor under the capable
leadership of Hugh Watson. David has also held positions at such major venues as Crown Casino, Hilton Hotel, Duxton Hotel, Telstra Dome & Brighton International.
Since starting with The Terrace, David has developed many exciting new menus.
David will be the chef for all of the twilight music concerts.

Montsalvat, Eltham

Montsalvat, founded by Justus Jörgensen, is Australia’s oldest artists’ colony and is home to practising artists. It remains to this day a working arts centre. Set in 12 acres of established gardens, the historic buildings include charming mud brick cottages and the impressive Great Hall.
The Twilight Concert series is held here throughout the year with concert dates to be announced. Once a year we will be holding a Music festival at Montsalvat.

Montsalvat hosts a variety of concerts, exhibitions and functions. A range of spaces are available to hire for artistic endeavours, weddings, business conferences and photography shoots. The Café is an integral part of Montsalvat.

Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, the Montsalvat Café is a beautiful spot to enjoy a wonderful meal. Our chefs have a passion for creating delicious food using produce from the Montsalvat gardens and top quality local suppliers.
